José López Luque

Senior Innovation Programme Manager at Cellnex Telecom

José López Luque is a Senior Innovation Programme Manager at Cellnex Telecom, overseeing the 5GMED project, which focuses on advanced Cooperative Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and Future Railway Mobile Communications System services across the Spain-France corridor. José has extensive experience in leading European innovation projects and bridging innovation with business units to turn concepts into commercial products. Previously, as the 5G & Innovation Manager at Magenta Telekom, José led telecom innovation projects and was the technical lead for Europe’s first commercial 5G network. José began their career as an IT Project Assistant at Reus City Council, contributing to project development and network access control implementation. Educational qualifications include a degree in Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicaciones from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master's thesis in Telecommunications from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and language proficiency in English from Escola Oficial d'Idiomes.
