Carsten Henriksen

Carsten H. has an extensive work history in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Carsten is currently working as a Quality Control Manager at Cellphire Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they held the same position at NexImmune, Inc. from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining NexImmune, Inc., Carsten worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions where they held multiple roles. Carsten started as an Associate Scientist II in August 2018 and was promoted to Senior Quality Control Scientist- Method Transfer in December 2019. Carsten then became a Quality Control Supervisor from April 2021 to April 2022.

Carsten also has experience working as an Associate Scientist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they were a Research Associate I at ProMetic from 2015 to 2017.

Carsten's career started at East Carolina University where they worked as a Laboratory Researcher. Their responsibilities included testing and reviewing samples of butyl blue and contributing to postgraduate research. Carsten also assisted a tenured professor and a graduate student in research for a new method of transportation for tuberculosis treatment.

Additionally, Carsten gained experience as a Grants Management Specialist Summer Student at the National Institutes of Health in 2011.

Carsten H. attended East Carolina University from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, Carsten also acquired several certifications. In November 2018, they received the Artel Pipetting Proficiency Certification from Artel. Furthermore, they earned the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Catalent Pharma Solutions in April 2020, and later in April 2021, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, also from Catalent Pharma Solutions.
