Jennifer Helble

Scientist II at Celsius Therapeutics

Jennifer Helble has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Jennifer began as a Physical Science Technician at Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in 2009. In 2012, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, where they studied the metabolism of bacteria isolated from soil. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Bowdoin College, where they compared the efficacy of metabolic labeling of glycoproteins from different bacterial species. In 2014, they became a Graduate Student at Harvard University, where they characterized host immune responses to the bacterial pathogen Chlamydia trachomatis and developed a 2-photon microscopy method to visualize and characterize the antigen-specific CD4+ T cell response to Chlamydia trachomatis. From 2017 to 2020, they were an Adjunct Professor at Emmanuel College (Boston). Jennifer then became a Postdoctoral Scholar at Tufts University in 2020, and is currently a Scientist II at Celsius Therapeutics.

Jennifer Helble completed their Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College in 2014. Jennifer then went on to Harvard University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology in 2020.
