Earnest Alexander has a diverse work history that spans from 1996 to the present. Earnest started as a Pharmacy Technician at Children's National Hospital, where they managed individual responsibilities and contributed to broader team goals. Earnest then completed pharmacy practice residencies at The National Institutes of Health and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, focusing on critical care and nutrition support. After their residencies, they worked at Tampa General Hospital, initially as a Critical Care Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and later as a Manager and Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services. In these roles, they led the development of clinical pharmacy services, developed strategies for organizational expansion, and promoted patient care services. Currently, they are serving as Vice President of Client Strategies and Services at Cencora.

Earnest Alexander earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Morgan State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Earnest then attended Howard University from 1995 to 1999, obtaining a PharmD degree in Pharmacy.
