Chunyan Mei-Kuusinen

Chunyan Mei-Kuusinen has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Chunyan began their career as an Assistant to the CEO of Hu Bei Securities Company in Wuhan, China. In 2001, they moved to Beijing, China to become the Head of Administration for the American Cooperate Training Company. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Project Coordinator for the Embassy of Finland's "Pure Finland" project. During this time, they created project plans and collaborated with Chinese companies and venues for advertising events. In 2015, they took on an internship with the City of Salo, where they introduced Chinese business culture to the mayor and top management team, and acted as a communication interface and advisor towards Chinese sister cities and Chinese investors. In 2016, they became a Board Member for Aurora Ventures Oy and also held two roles at Cencorp Automation Oy, Director of Business Development and Business Development Manager.

Chunyan Mei-Kuusinen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law between 1994 and 1998. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Salon aikuisopisto for a Finnish language program. From 2000 to 2001, they studied Business English at Beijing Foreign Studies University.
