Mert Acar is a Senior Software Engineer at Sky, having started in March 2023, and previously held positions at Improbable and Sky in various software engineering roles since September 2019. At Sky, Mert developed a Golang Kubernetes Operator for managing live streams and implemented cloud-native solutions for integrating AWS Cost and Usage Reports into GCP's BigQuery. Mert's early career included architecting a web portal for internal users and contributing to various projects focused on service access and member account data management. Mert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King's College London and a Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology from Richmond upon Thames College.
