Mauricio Villarreal Duque

Mauricio Villarreal Duque has extensive experience in various companies in the energy and logistics sectors. Mauricio started their career in 2003, working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Centigon Security Group, where they were responsible for standardizing and improving manufacturing processes. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the Quality Coordinator, overseeing the maintenance and recertification of the quality management system.

In 2006, Mauricio joined Helicentro as the Logistics Manager, where they were responsible for technical supply, purchasing spare parts, and negotiating with suppliers. Mauricio also led a team in the aeronautical warehouse.

From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Termotasajero S.A. E.S.P., initially as a Planning and Management Analyst, overseeing budget control and participating in M&A processes. Later, they became the Management Coordinator, leading the analysis and valuations of companies in the Colombian energy sector.

In 2011, they joined Ecopetrol as a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Vice Presidency of Strategy and Growth. There, they conducted strategic analysis and competitive intelligence, as well as managed relations with government and sector entities.

Since 2013, Mauricio has been working at Cenit Transporte y Logística de Hidrocarburos. Mauricio has held various roles, including Head of Portfolio Management - Financial Planning Management, Strategy Business Development, Intelligence and Analysis Specialist, and Head of Identification of New Businesses and Portfolio. In these positions, they have been involved in leading the development and structuring of investment portfolios, analyzing the environment to identify threats and opportunities, and serving as a second opinion in business cases.

Throughout their career, Mauricio has achieved significant accomplishments, such as securing approval for investment plans, closing new businesses, and divesting assets. Their work has focused on guaranteeing sustainability, energy transition, and compliance with corporate strategies.

Mauricio Villarreal Duque's education history is as follows:

- From 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Administration, at the Universidad de Los Andes.
