Stephen Mervine

Stephen Mervine has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen is currently working as the Director of Financial Modeling at Centauri Health Solutions, Inc since April 2018. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Director of Finance at both Change Healthcare and Altegra Health from 2011 to 2017. Stephen'sresponsibilities included managing financial approval for sales proposals and customer contracts, evaluating impacts of annual CMS changes, and developing sales pricing models.

Before their roles at Change Healthcare and Altegra Health, Stephen worked at Social Service Coordinators, Inc as the Director of Billing and Compliance from 2003 to 2011. In this position, they managed the billing team responsible for reconciling and invoicing over $50 million in annual services. Stephen also developed billing system business rules, delivered employee HIPAA compliance training, and served as the primary billing/financial contact for all health plan clients.

Prior to that, Stephen worked as a Program Manager at ProcureStaff Technologies in 2001. Stephen was accountable for managing, directing, and ensuring profitability for a $40 million annual IT Managed Staffing Program.

Stephen's earlier experience includes working as the Manager of National Accounts Billing Operations at UnitedHealth Group in 2000, where they managed a team responsible for invoicing, collecting, reconciling, and performing receivable management for national account customers. Stephen was accountable for billing and collections of over $300 million in annual revenue.

Starting their career at CIGNA Healthcare in 1997, Stephen held the position of Assistant Director of Enrollment & Customer Service, National Service Organization. Stephen managed a team responsible for customer relationships, new business implementation, enrollment processing, premium billing, payment reconciliation, and collection. Stephen also handled staffing, forecasting, capacity planning, and financial results for a $500,000 budget and $100 million in annual premium revenues.

Stephen Mervine attended Bryant University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in the year 1989.
