Nathaniel Bischoff

Nathaniel Bischoff is a seasoned data scientist specializing in machine learning applications within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Centene Corporation since June 2022, Nathaniel applies advanced machine learning techniques to healthcare claims, leveraging a comprehensive tech stack that includes SQL, Python, AWS Lambda Functions, and AWS Sagemaker. Previously, as a Data Scientist at Cognoa from July 2018 to March 2022, Nathaniel led significant computer vision projects. At CHOC Children's from September 2016 to June 2018, as a Fellow in Medical AI, Nathaniel achieved notable accuracies in predicting pediatric hospital readmissions and no-shows for outpatient appointments through collaborative algorithm development. Nathaniel also holds a Master’s Degree in Computational Science - Bioinformatics and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Studies from Chapman University.
