Waqas Rahman

Waqas Rahman has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. WAQAS is currently serving as the Project Team Lead at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE) since 2020. Previously, in 2014, they founded Step Robotics and has been providing guidance and advice as an advisor. In 2012, Waqas joined CASE (Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering) as a Faculty Member and also took on the responsibility of being the Design Team Lead at CASE Robotics Group. WAQAS worked as a Design Engineer at RoboTech Engineering (Pvt) Ltd from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, in 2010, they had an internship at Pak Elektron Limited, where they contributed to the research and development of a smart meter with enhanced security features.

Waqas Rahman completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Telecommunications Engineering from NUST MCS, between the years 2012-2014. Prior to this, they attended I.M.C.B and completed their Hi School degree in Pre Engineering from 2004-2008.
