Shannon Baker-Branstetter

Shannon Baker-Branstetter is a seasoned professional in domestic climate and energy policy, currently serving as the Senior Director at the Center for American Progress since October 2021. Previously, Shannon held roles as the Director of Domestic Climate Policy at Dream Corps and Deputy Director of Policy at Green For All. Shannon's extensive experience includes working as a Manager and Senior Policy Counsel in Energy and Environment at Consumer Reports, along with previous positions such as litigation law clerk and pro bono intern. Shannon holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with a focus on Environmental Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Public Policy from UCLA, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Yale University.
