Shannon Bonney

Shannon Bonney is an accomplished professional with a strong background in development operations and community support. Currently serving as Development Operations Coordinator and previously as Development Assistant at the Center for American Progress since September 2021, Shannon has honed skills in fundraising strategies and donor management. Prior experience includes working with Duke Mutual Aid as a Financial and Development Team Member, where Shannon established financial records and designed effective fundraising strategies. Shannon also interned at HIAS Pennsylvania, providing essential support for immigrants and refugees, and gained customer service management experience at Main Line Delivery. A graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, Shannon also studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
