Lexi Weaver is a Senior Scientist at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines since March 2022, previously serving as a Bioterrorism Molecular Biologist at the Delaware Public Health Laboratory from November 2020 to March 2022. Lexi's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Drexel University, where research focused on the effects of an inhibitory drug on inflammatory factors and neurogenesis recovery following spinal cord injury. Prior to this, Lexi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from East Carolina University, where work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant involved studying the interactions between tadpole prey and predator insects in controlled environments.
