Lynne Isopi

Director, Drug Product Development at Center for Breakthrough Medicines

Lynne Isopi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Lynne recently joined the Center for Breakthrough Medicines as the Director of Drug Product Development in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Merck, where they held multiple roles. Lynne was a Senior Principal Scientist from November 2021 to April 2023, responsible for formulation development of novel vaccine candidates. Before that, they were a Principal Scientist, managing a group in the Vaccine Drug Product Development department and overseeing formulation and filling development efforts. Lynne also served as a Senior Manager, leading the Viral Antigen Group and a cross-functional project team.

Earlier in their career, Lynne worked at Merck and Co., Inc. for several years. Lynne was a Senior Research Biochemist, leading the Viral Vaccines and Vectors Formulation Group and responsible for formulation development of viral vaccines. Lynne also held roles as a Medical Education Specialist, Research Biochemist, and Staff Biochemist.

Lynne also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Montgomery County Community College, where they taught Microbiology and Immunology.

Starting their career, they worked as a Scientist at Roche Diagnostics. Lynne'swork experience showcases their expertise in formulation development, vaccine research, and cross-functional team leadership.

Lynne Isopi holds a Master of Science degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Lynne also obtained a Teacher Certification in Biology and Chemistry from the same university. Lynne further pursued their education at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. Lynne then attended PA College of Chiropractic, where they earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a specialization in Chiropractic. Additionally, Lynne received a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
