Sarah Blanco started their work experience as a Program Coordinator at Visiting Nurse Service of New York in 2008. Sarah then became the Clinical Director for Housing and Mental Health at Harlem United in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Psychotherapist at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. Sarah then worked as the Director of Programs at Getting Out and Staying Out from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they had a private practice in Psychotherapy and Counseling from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Supervising Social Worker at Mental Health Service Corps and later the Associate Executive Director at Getting Out and Staying Out. Currently, they are working as the Clinical Director at the Center for Court Innovation since 2019. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in program development, supervision, and community engagement.

Sarah Blanco has a Post Master's Certificate in Executive Leadership in the Not-for-Profit Sector from New York University. Sarah also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they have a SIFI Certification from Hunter College. Sarah has pursued studies in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the National Institute for Psychotherapies (NIP) and obtained a Certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
