Athena Rakebrand

Athena Rakebrand, PA-C, serves as a physician assistant at the Center for Emotional Health since April 2023, focusing on psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans in an outpatient behavioral health clinic. Previously, Rakebrand worked at Sports Medicine Oregon from November 2021 to February 2023 as an orthopedic hand physician assistant, assisting in surgeries and managing patient care. Prior roles include serving as an orthopedic trauma surgical physician assistant at Summit Orthopaedics and a level 4 neonatal intensive care provider at Yale New Haven Hospital. Rakebrand's clinical training includes diverse experiences in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and behavioral medicine during time at Marist College. Rakebrand's educational background includes a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marist College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lafayette College, complemented by additional training in nutrition and research experience at Lafayette College.
