Jalil Aziz Hassin Austin has extensive experience in regional development and operations consulting, currently serving in a Regional Development role at the Center for Employment Opportunities since September 2022 and as CEO/Operations Consultant at JAHA Consulting, Inc. since May 2020, where operations consulting services are provided to small black and brown organizations. Previous roles include Program Manager at the Southern California Black Worker Hub for Regional Organizing, Project Manager at the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, and various consulting positions with the New York City Mayor's Office, Department of Education, and Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Jalil's career began at Google in research and planning. Jalil holds a Master of Public Administration in Financial Management and Public Finance from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social & Cultural Analysis from New York University.
