Jalil Johnson

SVP, Medical Services at Center for Human Development

Jalil joined CHD in 2017, bringing diverse healthcare experience that spans over 20 years. He served as Director of Psychiatry before he became the organization’s Vice President of Medical Services in 2021. In his role, Jalil oversees the psychiatric, nursing and medical services that are interwoven throughout CHD programs. In his time with CHD he has been instrumental in developing interdisciplinary care models, as well as strengthening and growing psychiatry services. Jalil holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in nursing science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His specialty areas include primary care; as well as experience in psychiatry, substance use disorders, and higher education.
