Aaron P. has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Aaron started their career as a Threat Intelligence Analyst in the US Army, where they authored and delivered technical content for enduring intelligence collection projects. Aaron later became a Security Program Manager, establishing an information security compliance program and managing complex projects. Aaron then joined Service Group Insurance & Financial Services as a Software Development Project Manager, where they managed agile software and web development projects and developed data-driven marketing strategies. Aaron continued their career as a Senior Security Intelligence Writer at NTT Security, leading projects to improve threat intelligence report accuracy and orchestrating communications plans between threat researchers and global marketing teams. Aaron then worked as the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence Production and Analytics at Retail & Hospitality ISAC, where they directed the full lifecycle of multiple threat intelligence products and led the development and delivery of an industry-wide tabletop exercise. Aaron also worked as a Customer Success Manager at Cyware, driving customer acquisition and retention and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Prior to their current role, Aaron was a cybersecurty instructor at North Carolina State University. In 2023, Aaron joined the Center for Internet Security as the Director of Communications. Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, project management, and communications.

Aaron P. completed their Master of Science degree in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston-Victoria from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, K-12 from God's Bible School & College between 1999 and 2006. In 2014, they earned a Software Development and Testing Certificate from the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy. Additionally, Aaron has obtained several certifications, including Software Testing Fundamentals (VB) from Microsoft in July 2014, Certified CTIX Administrator from Cyware in July 2022, and Certified CTIX Analyst, also from Cyware, in July 2022.
