Kelli Tarala

Kelli Tarala is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Black Hills Information Security since October 2023, Kelli has also contributed to the SANS Institute as a Course Creator and Teaching Assistant since August 2009, authoring critical courses on security frameworks and risk management. Involvement as a Contributor at the Center for Internet Security and as Faculty at IANS underscores Kelli's commitment to educating security professionals. Kelli founded AuditScripts and Enclave Security, providing audit and cybersecurity services, and has held senior roles at WPS Health Insurance and SilverTrain Inc. Kelli holds a Masters Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and two undergraduate degrees in English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
