Tyler Cassidy

Tyler Cassidy is a Senior Software Engineer at the Center for Internet Security since May 2023, responsible for the Workbench application and leading a front-end re-write using Tailwind CSS, alongside technologies such as Laravel, PHP, AWS, MySQL, and CodeCommit. Previously, Tyler served as a Senior Software Engineer at Trucker Tools from September 2021 to April 2023, where significant contributions included the development of backend systems, creation of marketing algorithms, management of a summer intern, and operations tasks, utilizing tools like MySQL, Laravel/PHP, and AWS. Tyler's experience also encompasses extensive work at Cogent Communications from March 2012 to September 2021 as a Senior Application Developer, focusing on developing web applications, building a complex HR database, and leading a profitable billing project. Earlier roles include consulting for AOL and serving as a Junior Software Engineer at WealthEngine, as well as an IT Specialist at IBM. Tyler holds an education from the University of Virginia.
