Associate Director And Attorney at Center for Medicare Advocacy

Kathleen Holt serves as the Associate Director and Attorney at the Center for Medicare Advocacy since February 2014, where responsibilities include co-managing operations across multiple states, leading staff, and advocating for Medicare legislation. In addition to this role, Kathleen holds several leadership positions, including Chair of the Board of Directors for Lawrence + Memorial Hospital since September 2023 and a board member for Westerly Hospital. Kathleen is a Commissioner for the Housing Authority of Mansfield, Connecticut, and the State of Connecticut Teacher's Retirement Board, appointed by the governor. Previously, Kathleen owned and managed a law office focused on health-related legal issues and has extensive experience in various roles, including Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with HHS and Administrator of Special Projects at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. Kathleen holds a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Trinity College of Vermont.
