Matt Clark is a seasoned software and DevOps engineer with extensive experience in the development and maintenance of web applications and search technologies. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer at the Center for Open Science since 2019, Matt contributes to the architecture and engineering of the impactful OSF.io platform on the GCP cloud, which supports over half a million researchers. Previous roles include positions as a Software Engineer and Search Consultant at OpenSource Connections, and as a Senior Software Engineer at SRA International, focusing on systems for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Patent Office. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Roanoke College and completed computer science coursework as a Community Scholar at the University of Virginia.
