Scarlet Neath

Scarlet Neath is the Director, Policy at the Center for Policing Equity, where she oversees the development of CPE's evidence-informed recommendations and related resources to advance equity, justice, and safety. Previously, she led the technical and narrative content development for CPE’s Justice Navigator web application. Prior to joining CPE in 2020, she spent several years working on criminal justice reform at the national level. Most recently, she wrote policy briefs and provided technical assistance for a network of prosecutors at Fair and Just Prosecution. She has also worked in the communications department of the Vera Institute of Justice, where she managed media relations. Scarlet holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Public Policy with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
