Sarah Dylla has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Their most recent position is as the Chief Development Officer at the Center for Puppetry Arts, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Advancement and Philanthropy at MASS Design Group from 2022 to 2023. From 2021 to 2022, they held the role of Museum Director at the Center for Puppetry Arts. Sarah also has experience as an Exhibition Curator at the Atlanta History Center from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they have held positions such as a Special Collections Librarian and Creative Strategist at the Rhode Island School of Design, a Curatorial Fellow for Exhibitions at John Hay Library - Brown University, and a Project Consultant at St. Thomas Historical Trust. Sarah has also engaged in research and teaching roles, including serving as a Digital Humanities Researcher and an American Sign Language Tutor at the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities - University of Virginia.

Sarah Dylla's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art & Architectural History, Studio Art from the University of Virginia. Sarah attended the university from 2005 to 2009. Furthermore, Sarah obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Humanities from Brown University. Their time at Brown lasted from 2014 to 2016.

Center for Puppetry Arts

The Center for Puppetry Arts is home to nearly 5000 puppets and artifacts including the largest collection of Jim Henson puppets in the world. We present over 500 performances for children and adults each year featuring local, national and international artists. We offer over 50 distinctive outreach and on-site educational programs; and a Digital Learning program that delivers interactive, educational programming to all 50 states and 9 countries. We host approximately 180,000 visitors a year and have been a part of Midtown Atlanta for more than 40 years. We are the largest organization of our kind in the world.
