Michael Campbell

Michael is the go-to guy at the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHVFCU). As the Sr. Business Development Officer, he is the ambassador of any and all things when it comes to connecting people to what they need; no matter where they are on their financial journey. He is extraordinarily approachable, and you will always find it easy to talk to Michael which makes it easy to see why he is so successful in anything he does. He attributes his happy demeanor to his beautiful wife Ashley, and their 3 year old son Max, who he loves more than life itself. “My Family is the foundation of my success, and always has been.”

Michael has been with MHVFCU for over 8 years, and prior to joining the Credit Union movement he was a regional manager for various area retailers in the Hudson Valley. Michael knows the community well and serves as an ambassador on many committees and chambers. He is also involved with the Leadership Ulster Class of 2019.

Michael’s niece was diagnosed with autism (ASD) at age 2. It’s truly what brought his family to research and educate themselves about autism and it is what got him involved. Michael connected with David Juhren, who oversees Development & Public Relations at Center for Spectrum Services, at an expo through a mutual long-time friend, and this collaborative relationship took off from there.

Soon after, Michael took a tour of the facility with some of his co workers, campaigned for donations and shortly after became excited about the mission and vision of the school. Michael was so impressed with the level of therapeutic care, and the nurturing approach to improving children and families lives impacted by autism, that he met with Susan Buckler and Jamey Wolff to see how else he could contribute. He is now a proud member of the Board of Trustees. “The opportunity to learn more and contribute to this amazing organization is why I am here. I am always a student” as he puts it. “The inclusive family atmosphere that they foster here, is so amazing and helps connect the parents and teachers in a collaborative way, to bring out the very best in every single student.”
