Alex Draper

Community School Director for Fordham Leadership Academy, New York City at Center for Supportive Schools

Alex Draper is a Community School Director working with Fordham Leadership Academy in New York City. As a Community School Director, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the community school strategy in collaboration with school leadership and community partners. Prior to joining CSS, Alex worked in a range of education and youth development settings, from coaching teachers in New York City, to a Summer Camp Director for a YMCA Camp in the Catskills, to teaching high school science for the NYC Department of Education. As a graduate of the NYC Teaching Fellows, he received his master’s degree in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and his bachelor’s degree in physiology from the University of Liverpool.
