Kim Patterson Roberts has extensive experience in education and professional development, currently serving as an Independent Professional Learning Consultant at the Center for the Collaborative Classroom since February 2013. Previously, Kim held roles as a Teacher Consultant with The National Writing Project/University of California Berkeley until September 2022, and as an Education Consultant with Generation Ready from July 2014 to January 2021. Earlier career positions include Director of the MS Writing/Thinking Institute and the Mississippi State University Writing/Thinking Project, as well as a Middle School Teacher at New Hope Middle School and a First Grade Teacher in DeSoto County. Kim earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, an M.S. in Education, and a B.S. in Education, all from Mississippi State University, in addition to an Associate of Arts degree from Itawamba Junior College.
