Amanda Spann serves as the Innovation Leadership Program Manager at the Center on Rural Innovation, where responsibilities include designing and executing a rural tech-focused leadership and professional development program for Economic Recovery Corps fellows. Additionally, Spann functions as a Startup & Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Consultant at UVI Research and Technology Park, aimed at reducing the U.S. Virgin Islands' dependence on tourism. As the Founder of Happii, an innovation hub, Spann supports the growth of new products and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Spann's past roles include Head of Community at Tech Beach Retreat, Mentor at 1871, Venture Fellow at Stat Zero, and Communications & Content Program Director at Wells Fargo. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Relations/Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Merchandising and Communication Studies from Florida State University.
