Garette Lampert has worked in various roles throughout their career. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at UCLA as a Supervisor in Customer Service, where they managed restaurant operations and led a team. From 2013 to 2014, Lampert worked at Marks & Devine CPAs as a Billing Specialist, handling client accounts and tax returns. In 2014 and 2015, they served as an Assistant Editor at Rothco Press, providing editing and research support for a book publishing house. Lampert was self-employed from 2015 to 2016, working as a Private Tutor and providing tutoring services, time management skills, and college application preparation assistance. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Recruiting Assistant at The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC, screening potential behavior therapists and updating job descriptions. In 2018, Lampert became a Teen Mentor at Ascend Healthcare, and starting in 2020, they have been working as a School Counselor at the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Garette Lampert holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, which was obtained from UCLA between the years 2009 and 2013. Subsequently, Garette pursued further education and graduated from California Lutheran University with a Masters in Counseling PPS, completing this degree from 2017 to 2020.
