Marta Luz Corcoran

Marta Luz Corcoran has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Marta Luz is currently working as the Senior Director of R&D, CMC Biologics at Centessa Pharmaceuticals since April 2023. Before joining Centessa Pharmaceuticals, they held various roles at AstraZeneca. From September 2021 to April 2023, they worked as the Director of Global Technical Operations - Analytical. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Scientist/Associate Director from May 2017 to August 2021. Marta also worked at MedImmune, where they held the position of Senior Scientist from July 2014 to April 2017 and Scientist II from January 2010 to June 2014. Marta Luz started their career at Human Genome Sciences as a Senior Scientist from an unknown date to December 2009.

Marta Luz Corcoran holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The George Washington University, which they obtained in 1992. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology at Georgetown University in 1986.
