Yashar Salek

Yashar Salek currently serves as the Executive Director of Clinical Development at Centessa Pharmaceuticals, a position held since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director of Clinical Development at Neumora from July 2023 to July 2025 and as Senior Director and Acting Director of Safety and Pharmacovigilance at NSF - Health Sciences from July 2019 to July 2023. Yashar Salek also held the role of Director of Clinical Development at Amarex Clinical Research, LLC, from January 2011 to July 2019, where responsibilities included serving as Project Lead and Medical Monitor. Earlier in the career, Yashar Salek was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest from 2008 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, obtained from 1996 to 2004, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience and Health Sciences from York University, completed from 2006 to 2008.
