Heidrun Katholnigg has extensive work experience in various roles within the clinical research and quality management fields. Most recently, they served as the Executive Director, Global Clinical Development Europe at Celerion since June 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Quality Assurance DDS - EU at Celerion from February 2017 to May 2017. Heidrun also worked as a Manager in Quality Assurance (GCD) at Celerion from January 2017 to February 2017.
Before joining Celerion, Heidrun worked at Assign Group as the Head of Quality Management from February 2011 to December 2016. Prior to that, they were a Clinical Project Manager at Assign Group from January 2009 to February 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences from September 2011 to February 2014.
In the earlier years of their career, Heidrun held various roles at Assign Group, including Project Leader from January 2007 to August 2007, Project Manager from September 2003 to January 2007, and Clinical Research Associate from June 2003 to September 2003. Heidrun also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Vienna, Dept. Microbiology & Genetics from April 2002 to October 2002.
Heidrun Katholnigg completed their high school education at Bundesgymnasium Babenbergerring in Wiener Neustadt, earning a general qualification for university entrance ("Matura") in the year 1991. Heidrun then pursued a degree in Genetics at the University of Vienna. Heidrun successfully graduated with a Magister rerum naturalium (Mag. rer. nat.) in the year 2000.
