Sam Bath

Sam Bath has extensive work experience in human resources and people management roles.

They currently hold the position of VP, People & Culture at Central 1 since 2023.

Prior to that, Sam served as Sr. Director, Human Resources at BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) from 2019 to 2023, where they oversaw all aspects of the organization's people and culture strategy.

They also held the position of Director - People & Culture (Human Resources) at TELUS from 2014 to 2019, providing strategic HR support to the Customer Experience business unit.

Earlier in their career, Sam held various managerial roles in HR at Compass Group Canada, Aritzia, and JPMorgan Chase. These roles included overseeing HR operations, developing diversity and inclusion strategies, and serving as a talent acquisition manager.

Sam Bath has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC Sauder School of Business, with a focus on Human Resources. In 2013, Sam also obtained MBTI Certification from Psychometrics Canada. In 2021, Sam completed a program on HR & Compensation Committee Effectiveness at the Institute of Corporate Directors.
