Sarah Keane

Sarah Keane serves as the CEO of Swim Ireland, where Sarah has held the position since May 2004, becoming the first individual to take on this role for the National Governing Body for swimming and related aquatic activities in Ireland. In addition to this, Sarah is a Board Member for both European Aquatics and World Aquatics since January 2024. Sarah is also a Commission Member of the Central Bank of Ireland, having been appointed in December 2020 for a five-year term. Since February 2017, Sarah has served as the President of the Olympic Federation of Ireland, making history as the first female to hold this position, leading the Board and providing support to the Chief Executive Officer. Sarah Keane holds a Diploma in Company Direction (Corporate Governance) from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
