Grace Okara

Grace Okara is an accomplished Senior Researcher with extensive experience in economic research and monetary policy communications. Currently serving at the Central Bank of Kenya since March 2021, Grace previously held the position of Senior Researcher at the African Institute for Remittances from March 2018 to February 2021 and served in a similar role at the Central Bank of Kenya from June 2016 to March 2018. Grace began the professional career as a Researcher at KSMS Research Centre from October 2014 to June 2016, having previously managed postgraduate programmes at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies from June 2011 to October 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University and multiple advanced degrees in Economics, including a Master of Arts from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the University of London.
