Shqipe Abazi

Shqipe Abazi possesses over a decade of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Coordinator of International Cooperation, Strategic Planning & Investments and previously as the Head of the Investment Division at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosova since November 2010. Expertise includes asset management across various classes, benchmark and performance analysis, risk assessment and controlling, as well as trading and settlement operations. Additionally, Shqipe Abazi has served as an Investment Officer with extensive experience in fixed income and money market instruments. Prior to this, a part-time Teaching Assistant at Universum University College contributed to education in financial markets and quantitative methods. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics from Lund University and a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from Ghent University, complemented by a BA in Finance from See University.
