Harsh Singh has been serving as Deputy Commissioner at the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) since 2013, focusing on the Tax Research Unit within the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. Previously, Harsh held the position of Probation Officer at the National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics in Faridabad from December 2013 to May 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing an extensive training program for new IRS (C&IT) officers. Harsh's educational background includes a Postgraduate Programme in Public Policy and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, an Exchange Program in Public Policy Analysis at Syracuse University - Maxwell School, and a B.Tech in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Early education was completed at Loyola School in Jamshedpur.
