Britta Ballerini RN, BSN, PHN has worked in the nursing field since 2015. In 2015, they were a Student Nurse Preceptee at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula where they managed the care of up to five patients daily. Britta also completed a CSUMB Internship at Central Coast Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice where they assisted clinicians with patient, family, and caregiver care. In 2016, they began working at Carmel Hills Care Center as a Charge Nurse, providing direct nursing care to up to 25 residents daily. Britta also began working at Central Coast VNA & Hospice as a Primary Care Nurse Case Manager.

Britta Ballerini RN, BSN, PHN has a comprehensive educational background. Britta began their education in 2011 when they obtained a Nurse Assistant Certification from Monterey Adult School. Britta then attended Monterey Peninsula College from 2008 to 2014, earning an Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing Prerequisites and General Education for Associate and Baccalaureate Degrees. From 2012 to 2015, they earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Monterey Bay and an Associate in Science from Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing. In addition to their educational background, Ballerini has obtained several certifications, including Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse from the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center in 2016, Public Health Nurse from the State of California Board of Registered Nursing in 2016, Certification of Completion of 5 Successful IV Insertions Under Supervision from Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing in 2014, BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association in 2015, Registered Nurse from the Board of Registered Nursing in 2015, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support from the American Heart Association in 2015, and Nurse Assistant from the California Department of Public Health in 2012.
