Assistant Director Of Special Education at Central Dauphin School District

Rebecca Marmas has extensive experience in the field of special education. Rebecca currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Special Education at Central Dauphin School District, where they started in June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Special Education Supervisor at the same district from March 2022 to June 2022. From October 2019 to March 2022, Rebecca was the Assistant Director of Pupil Services at Tulpehocken Area School District. Rebecca has also worked as a Special Education Teacher at Antietam School District from January 2018 to October 2019, as well as at Wilson School District from August 2015 to January 2018. Rebecca began their career as a Special Education Teacher at Reading School District in August 2009, where they also served as the Special Education department chair.

Rebecca Marmas' education history begins in 2004 when they attended Albright College. Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education & Early Childhood Education in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Special Education at Albright College from 2008 to 2009. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Penn State University, where they obtained a Graduate Level Certification in Special Education Supervisor.
