Zac Alfson

Sr. Director Of Marketing And Communications at Central Florida Community Arts

Zac Alfson has a diverse and extensive work experience background. Zac started their career as a Grants & Government Affairs Intern at United Arts of Central Florida in 2009. Later that year, they joined Mad Cow Theatre as a Marketing and Grants Manager, where they led marketing and communication efforts and worked on a capital campaign. In 2013, Zac became a Patron Engagement Manager at Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, a classical music presenting organization. Here, they served as a manager for patron engagement and volunteer choirs. In 2018, Zac took on the role of Executive Director at The Milk District, working alongside businesses and volunteers to enhance the commercial district and act as a cultural hub. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications at Central Florida Community Arts.

Zac Alfson pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre Stage Management. Following their graduation, Zac went on to acquire several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Prior to that, they earned a Post-Crisis Hospitality Management Certificate from the University of South Florida in December 2020. Additionally, Zac acquired a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in July 2020.
