Heather LeBlanc is an experienced zoo educator currently working at the Central Florida Zoological & Botanical Gardens since February 2018, where engaging educational programs have been launched to promote conservation. Additional roles include serving as a college essay writing tutor at Tutor.com since April 2020, and completing an internship at the National Audubon Society's Raptor Trauma Clinic, focusing on the husbandry and medical care of injured raptors. Heather has conducted ecological research with the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail Association and has experience in early childhood education as a substitute teacher at the University of Florida. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Veterinary Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, both from the University of Florida.
