Timothy Poole, PE has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Timothy currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Central Georgia EMC. Prior to that, they worked at Pike Engineering, where they held various roles including Project Manager II, Team Lead - OH Projects, and Engineer III. In these positions, they focused on reliability, protection, coordination, and distribution system analysis for Southern Company's grid investment program. Timothy was also responsible for determining feeder routes and configurations, device placement, and completing distribution protection and control studies.

Timothy also served as the President of Huntington Manor Home Owners Association, where they oversaw the operations of a 100-lot community in Cornelia, GA. In addition, they worked as the Manager of Engineering at Habersham EMC and as a Planning Engineer at North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation.

Earlier in their career, Timothy gained experience as a Distribution Engineer at TRI-COUNTY EMC and as a Retail Associate at Bass Pro Shops. Timothy also worked as a CAD Engineer at BioFuel Innovations, where they designed and fabricated agricultural machine parts using SolidWorks 3D and HACO Plasma Table. Their responsibilities included generating 2D and 3D renders, exporting drawings to G-Code for production, and adjusting plasma settings for cutting various materials.

Timothy Poole, PE received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Mercer University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Timothy has obtained several additional certifications, including being a Licensed Professional Engineer in Electrical & Computer Power from NCEES since May 2018. Timothy also holds certifications such as UAS Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, Level 3 Overhead Distribution Design, Level 2 Overhead Distribution Design, and Level 1 Overhead Distribution Design from Georgia EMC. Additionally, they are an ITS Qualified Operator from the Georgia Transmission Corporation.
