Rebecca Simmons

Rebecca Simmons, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to talent management, training, and organizational development. Rebecca most recently served as the Director of Talent & Performance at Central Hudson, where they were responsible for overseeing talent acquisition and development strategies. Prior to that, they worked as a Supervisor and Senior Training Specialist at Central Hudson, focusing on training and instructional design.

Before joining Central Hudson, Rebecca worked at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, where they held several positions. Rebecca served as the Assistant Vice President of Talent Management, overseeing talent acquisition and development efforts. Rebecca also worked as the Manager of Organizational Development, focusing on enhancing the organization's performance and effectiveness.

Earlier in their career, Rebecca held a supervisory role in the Training & Organizational Development Department at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. In this role, they provided support, development, and resources to meet the training and learning needs of employees. Rebecca also worked as a Senior Training Specialist, further solidifying their expertise in training and development.

Rebecca Simmons, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, earned between 2003 and 2007. Rebecca also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University from 1997 to 2000. In addition, Rebecca has earned several certifications, including Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in 2019, SWP certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in 2016, SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in 2015, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2014.
