Amanda Melo

Amanda Melo possesses extensive experience in human resources, currently holding multiple managerial roles at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since March 2012, including Talent and Performance Manager and HR Services Team Lead. Expertise includes utilizing HR metrics to enhance program effectiveness, payroll management, attendance systems, and conducting investigations under progressive discipline. Prior to this, Amanda served at the Ministry of Tourism from April 2010 to March 2012, where responsibilities ranged from recruitment and onboarding of over 700 employees to employee relations consultation and HRIS administration. Earlier experience at Loblaws Supermarket involved customer service excellence and training new staff. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources from Ryerson University.
