Associate Vice President For Information Technology And Research Services at Central Piedmont Community College

Terri Manning, Ed.D. has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the field of higher education. Terri started their career in 1990 as an Assistant Professor of Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, where they worked until 1997. In 1998, Terri joined Central Piedmont Community College and held several key positions, including Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Assistant to the Executive Vice President, and later as the Associate Vice President for Information Technology and Research Services. During their time at Central Piedmont Community College, they also founded and served as the CEO of the Center for Applied Research, a self-sustaining research and evaluation team. In 2018, Terri became a Higher Education Consultant for the Charlotte NC Region and a Data Coach for Achieving the Dream, a national movement focused on ensuring student success.

Terri Manning, Ed.D. holds an EdD in Higher Education with an Emphasis in Health Behavior from Oklahoma State University, which was completed from 1987 to 1990. Terri also earned an MS in Health Science from Oklahoma State University from 1983 to 1986. Terri'seducation history includes a BA in Foreign Language from the University of Oklahoma, which was completed from 1972 to 1976.
