Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Central Valley

Christine Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christine began their career as a Teacher in the Sonoma Valley Unified School District in 1997. Christine then worked as an Operations Project Manager at Centralink, where they managed federal grants and client relationships. In 1996, they served as a Human Resources/Training Manager at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Ventana Big Sur, where they managed an Employment Training Panel grant and recruited vendors and trainers. From 2000 to 2008, Hunter was a Senior Organization Development Consultant at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where they provided organization development solutions and designed change management strategies. Christine also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Juniper Networks in 2008. From 2009 to 2014, they held various roles at Big Heart Pet Brands, including Vice President of Talent and Director of Learning and Organization Development. In 2011, Hunter served as the President and Secretary of the Board of Directors at the Bay Area Organization Development Network. Christine was also the Vice President of Operations and Staffing at Zynga from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Central Valley.

Christine Hunter began their education journey in 1989 at Humboldt State University, where they pursued a BA and obtained a K-12 Teaching Credential in Education. Christine continued their education at the University of San Francisco from 1998 to 2001, earning a Masters of Science degree in Organizational Development / Human Resources. Later, from 2002 to 2014, Christine attended the Professional School of Psychology, completing their Psy. D. degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
