Juulia Kauste

Juulia Kauste is a seasoned professional in architecture and urban studies, currently serving as a Coach and Curator at Lunden Architecture Company since April 2022. In addition to this role, Juulia is a member of the Board of Experts for the European Prize for Urban Public Space at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) and a Committee member at Roca Gallery. Juulia has extensive experience as an Independent Expert for various EU architecture awards, having contributed as a member of the Advisory Committee and Jury for the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award from 2011 until 2018. Additionally, Juulia directed the Arkkitehtuurimuseo / Museum of Finnish Architecture from 2010 to 2018 and served as an Adjunct Professor at New School University for over a decade. Juulia holds multiple academic degrees, including a Master’s in Sociology and Urban Studies, complemented by a B.A. in Art History and Languages.
