Francis Lavoie

Francis Lavoie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked as a System Analyst at Hydro Québec until 2006. In 2005, they founded Vimba inc. and served as the Owner & Software Architect until 2012. Francis then joined Draxis Pharma as a System Analyst from 2007 to 2008. From 2010 to 2015, Francis worked as a Web Analyst at the Office national du film du Canada. Francis then transitioned to AppDirect where they served as a Sr Frontend Software Developer from 2015 to 2018. Francis'snext role was at OneSpan as a Senior Frontend Developer from 2018 to 2020. Francis'smost recent position is at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre, where they started as an Open Source Software Developer in 2020 and is currently working as the Technical Lead - Front-End.

Francis Lavoie earned a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from HEC Montréal between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed an AEC in Programmer Analyst at CDI from 1999 to 2000.
