André-Philippe Chenail

André-Philippe Chenail has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. André-Philippe is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Forum des gens d'Affaires Québec-Japon. Before this, they held senior positions at Investissement Québec, where they worked as the Senior Project Director for Foreign Direct Investment in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. André-Philippe also served as the Vice President of International Operations at Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. In addition, André-Philippe Chenail has been involved in politics as a candidate for the Green Party of Canada. André-Philippe has also held positions at the Canada China Business Council, where they worked as the Quebec Chapter Director and Shanghai Chapter Director. Prior to these roles, they gained teaching experience as a high-school teacher at Collège Charle-Lemoyne, teaching subjects such as contemporary world, investments, and history.

André-Philippe Chenail completed their Bachelor's degree in High School/Secondary Diploma Programs at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a College diploma in Humanities and political studies from Collège Maisonneuve from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Excellence in FDI and Investment Promotion (CEFDI) from Wavteq Institute in 2021, and completed courses in Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science, and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from MITx on edX in 2018. André-Philippe also achieved the HSK 4 - 汉语水平考试 - 4级 certification in 2011.
